The cost of a funeral can vary greatly depending on the type of funeral you require. The following is a list of what you can expect to pay when arranging a funeral.

Professional Service Fee

• Transfer deceased from place of death into our care
• Mortuary care
• Provision of chapel for viewing and service
• Photo presentation
• Refreshments
• Liaising with clergy or funeral celebrants
• Ordering flowers
• Placing funeral and death notices the newspaper
• Arranging for caterers and/or musicians
• Registration of death with Home affairs
• Arranging graves
• Staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Cemetery or Cremation Fees

• Cemeteries have their own charges.

Coffin or Casket Charges

New Era  Funerals offer a wide range of high quality coffins manufactured in South Africa .

You may require a low cost custom wood coffin which can be supplied, through to highly finished solid timber and metal caskets.

Disbursements

New Era Funerals also offer to take care of other expenses on your behalf, such as:

• Funeral and death notices
• Clergy or celebrant fees
• Floral arrangements
• Singers or musicians
• Memorial books
• Refreshments if required
• Order of services sheets or cards
• Medical certificates
• Death certificates
